Vesna Manojlovic


Vesna is Community Builder at RIPE NCC. Vesna joined RIPE as a Trainer in 1999. In 2008, she lead efforts to establish IPv6 RIPEness as a measure of IPv6 deployment among LIRs. In 2015 she moved to Communications Department as Senior Community Builder, with a focus on organising hackathons.


Fiber Telecom

Marco Paesani joined Fiber Telecom in 2018. He is currently CTO and member of the board of directors. He experimented and studied packet radio before the Internet appeared. BGP, MPLS and RPKI are the main fields in which competence and love for this job make him a special network technician.

Marcos Sanz Grossón


Marcos is responsible for software engineering at DE-CIX, helping to build there the biggest Interconnection Platform worldwide. More than 20 years of experience in the internet industry are behind him (incl. DENIC & CENTR). He is active in different communities like RIPE and IETF and is co-author of a number of RFCs.

Peter is CEO of AMS-IX since 2018. Prior to that, he was Director of Digital Transformation at Westcon. Throughout his 20-year career within the IT, Telecommunications, and Internet industries, he has been the driving force behind global business transformation initiatives spanning people, processes, and technology. 

Nurani Nimpuno


Nurani Nimpuno is the Head of Global Engagement at the London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the largest Internet exchange points in the world, connecting close to 1000 networks from over 80 countries around the globe. At LINX she oversees the LINX Global Strategy and Global Partnerships.

Rob Allen


Rob is Communications Consultant at Netnod. He has been working in the Internet industry for more than 15 years including almost a decade at the RIPE NCC. He holds degrees from Cambridge University and a PhD from the University of Amsterdam. He moved to Sweden in 2016 and is still waiting for summer.

Salvador Bertenbreiter

Peru IX

Salvador is co-founder and CEO at Peru IX, the neutral Internet Exchange Point in Peru, he brings almost 20 years of experience helping WISPs and ISPs in Latin America and Africa to develop a better Internet in their communities. He previously worked for Ubiquiti Networks for 10 years.

Kyle Spencer


Kyle is Executive Director of the Uganda Internet eXchange Point, Coordinator of the African IXP Association, Board Member at the Internet Exchange Federation, and CEO of Stormzero Consulting. He is an intellectual property reform advocate.

Roman Y. Zelinsky


Roman is Head of international development at MSK-IX. He started his career in telecom in 2003 in СJSC “Kolomna Svyaz TV” (Kolomna city, Moscow region), as Account Manager of the commercial department. He holds a PhD in Economics from the State Academy Of Management (GUU Moscow).

Maurizio Goretti


Maurizio is CEO and board member at Namex Rome IXP, where he has been contributing since 1996. In 1996, he moved into Internet Services joining Caspur, a university consortium based in Rome where the Rome IXP was born in 1995. He has been recognized by the European Union as an Expert in the field of Internet and Telecommunications.

Brian Davenport

Team Cymru

Brian is a Solutions Engineer for the Outreach department at Team Cymru. He brings a decade of experience utilizing metadata to improve network security and performance. He helps partners implement and understand all of the community services offerings, with his focus being on NimbusTM.

Guillaume Mazoyer


Guillaume is a French 32 year-old network engineer working for the RESTENA Foundation. He maintains RESTENA’s network, the LU-CIX infrastructure as well as Luxembourg national DDoS scrubbing center. He previously worked for LuxNetwork for seven years.

Niels Raijer

Fusix Networks

Niels Raijer (1974) is CTO and owner of Fusix Networks, where stability of the Internet Routing System is of the highest importance. He has been a BGP networker since 1999 and has worked for ISPs such as Demon Internet and Proserve before starting a career in BGP consulting, building and running dozens of autonomous systems.

Danny Pinto

As the Engineering Director of Colt Technology Services (AS8220), Danny is responsible for Packet Networks Engineering. His team is responsible for architecture, design, test and deliver solutions for Colt’s Global IP and Ethernet networks. He has over 18 years’ experience with service provider environments with wide roles in operations , deployment , engineering & management.

Andrei Robachevsky

Internet Society

Andrei joined ISOC in March 2011. He is the Senior Director, Technology Programmes. His primary area of interest is security and resilience of the Internet infrastructure. This work is based on active engagement with the operator, research, and policy communities. Prior to joining ISOC, Andrei was CTO of the RIPE NCC.

Nina Bargisen


Nina has 20+ years experience of the global internet community. She recently joined network observability company Kentik, where she focuses on supporting the company’s service providers users. Nina has served on program committees and IXP boards, she is an active industry speaker, and she is co-chair of RIPE’s MAT Working Group.

Florian Hibler


Florian joined Arista in 2017 and now leads the Systems Engineering team in Germany. Previously to Arista, over the course of 17 years he has held technical and management positions at a variety of SPs and IXPs with roles in engineering, architecture and strategy.

Lars Michael Jogback


LM Jogbäck has been CEO of Netnod since 2016. Prior to that, he worked for Google, where he was responsible for their corporate network in EMEA, India and China. He has more than 15 years experience within ISPs in Sweden, throughout which he has held both technical and managerial positions.


Kurtis Lindqvist


Kurtis (CEO of LINX) has a broad background in engineering and business development of ISP and worldwide carrier networks. He has been active in the Internet community for more than 20 years, working in several roles: CEO of Netnod (2002-2015), chairman of Euro-IX since 2003, WG Chair for RIPE since 2004.

Thomas King


Dr. Thomas King has been in the IXP industry for more than ten years. As CTO at DE-CIX, he and his team are responsible for building and operating the Interconnection Platform worldwide, designing and introducing new Interconnection products, and keeping customers happy with swift service provisioning.
